Meet the dedicated individuals behind Camp Creek Inn. Our accomplished corporate and operations team brings a wealth of expertise and passion to ensure an exceptional experience for every guest, embodying the spirit of hospitality that defines our distinctive 30A boutique hotel.
 

Management Team

Jean Capps brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Camp Creek Inn, having served as a General Manager for full-service hotels and resorts for over 16 years. Jean has been with The St. Joe Company, Camp Creek Inn's parent company, since 2019 and has managed both boutique and branded hotels including WaterColor Inn & Resort, Homewood Suites Panama City Beach, and Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina.  

 

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jean moved to the Florida Panhandle seven years ago with her husband, Bob. They have four grown children, two of whom are serving in the United States Military. Outside of work, Jean enjoys running, cycling, mountain biking, and camping in her Airstream.

 

Fun fact about Jean: She has an identical twin!

With more than 30 years of experience in group sales, event planning, and culinary operations, Kelly M. Galloway serves as Director of Sales at Camp Creek Inn. Her journey began in Foley, Alabama, where a deep passion for service and Southern hospitality was nurtured in her family’s kitchen, shaped by the guidance of her mother and grandmother.

 

 

Throughout her career, Kelly has led high-performing teams and served a diverse clientele including families, CEOs, a former U.S. President, Oscar and Grammy winners, and a Heisman Trophy recipient. A dedicated mentor, she is especially proud of leading all-women management teams, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

 

 

Kelly’s career spans renowned hospitality destinations such as New Orleans, Atlanta, 30A, and central Alabama. She has held key positions with prestigious brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, and Rosewood Hotels. Known for orchestrating exceptional events, from weddings to high-profile restaurant openings, she has also immersed herself in global culinary cultures, drawing inspiration from destinations like Belize, Norway, New Orleans, New York, and London.

 

 

She is a proud member of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), reflecting her commitment to excellence in the culinary and hospitality industries. Beyond her professional life, Kelly enjoys theatre, museums, music, exploring new wines, and passionately supports University of Alabama football.

Vikas Desraj brings a global perspective and deep passion for hospitality to his role as Director of Food & Beverage at Camp Creek Inn. Originally from India, Vikas has lived and worked across several continents, gaining cultural insights and hospitality expertise from around the world. 

 

His career includes leadership roles at prestigious properties such as Langham Hotel Boston, Four Seasons Jackson Hole and Atlanta, and The Ritz-Carlton Lake Oconee. Vikas also holds a master’s degree in hospitality from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland, and previously managed a boutique hotel and restaurant in East Africa.

 

Now settled in Bay County with his wife Katy and their son August, Vikas is excited to create exceptional culinary and service experiences for guests and Members alike. When he's not on property, you’ll likely find him in his garden cultivating fruit trees and edible plants.

Greg Flannagan is a PGA-certified golf professional currently serving as the Director of Golf, a significant part of the Watersound Club experience in Inlet Beach, Florida. With over a decade of experience in the golf industry, Greg has held leadership positions at esteemed clubs, including Old Waverly Golf Club and Mossy Oak Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi.

 

 

Throughout his career, Greg has been instrumental in enhancing golf operations and delivering exceptional member experiences. His expertise encompasses player development, tournament coordination, and golf instruction. Greg's dedication to the sport and commitment to excellence have made him a respected figure in the golfing community.

 

 

Originally from Sunnyside, Florida, Greg continues to contribute to the growth and prestige of Camp Creek Golf Course, fostering a welcoming environment for Camp Creek Inn guests to enjoy.

Alexa Guarachi Bruner, Camp Creek Inn's Director of Tennis and Pickleball, brings an impressive background in tennis to Camp Creek Inn, having started her journey at the age of five under the coaching of her professional parents in Miramar Beach, Florida. She quickly rose to a top 50 junior world ranking and went on to excel at the University of Alabama, where she was the top player in both singles and doubles, earning three All-American titles. After college, Alexa turned professional, overcoming an ACL injury to achieve a career-high doubles ranking of 11.

 

Alexa's professional career highlights include reaching the finals of the 2020 French Open, semi-finals of the 2021 US Open, quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2022, and winning a gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. Additionally, she claimed a title at the 2021 Dubai Duty Free WTA event, has five WTA Tour wins, and competed in the year-end finals for the world’s top eight teams in 2021.

 

Alexa is dedicated to offering top-tier tennis and pickleball experiences for our 30A hotel guests. Whether you're looking to improve your tennis game or play like a pro, Alexa and her team are available to provide everything you need to enhance your game at our onsite court facilities.

 

 

Erin Fisher serves as Lodging Manager at Camp Creek Inn, where she oversees all aspects of the guest experience with a focus on thoughtful service, operational excellence, and Forbes Travel Guide standards. Since joining the team, Erin has played an integral role in shaping the Inn’s approach to hospitality, bringing a detail-driven mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable stays.

 

Prior to Camp Creek Inn, Erin built a strong foundation in property management, overseeing a portfolio of more than 300 residences. This experience informs her ability to seamlessly balance high-level operations with personalized guest care.

 

Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Florida State University. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through a Star mention in a recent Forbes Travel Guide inspection, reflecting her dedication to delivering elevated, consistent service.

 

A lifelong traveler, Erin was born in Japan and brings a global perspective to her work in hospitality. Outside of the Inn, she enjoys cooking, reading, painting, and exploring new destinations. She has called Florida home for over a decade and resides locally with her fiancé, Dillon, and their long-haired dachshund, Goose.
